Sequence of Operation
The operator steps on the electro-air foot pedal ... the hole is punched,
the grommet is fed from the raceway and set in your product... all in
a single cycle of the machine. Advanced cutting technology is employed
to punch out the hole... even in the most challenging of fabrics such
as nylon or kevlar. A material thickness compensator allows materials
with thickness differences of up to 1/8 " to be set without a setting
tool adjustment.
Grommet and Washer Sizes
The Model S-98 will automatically feed and set Stimpson sheet metal grommets
(sizes #00 to #4) and Stimpson rolled rim grommets (sizes #0 to #4). Washers,
if used, are hand fed.
